Tour ITINERARY

The adventure begins with a scenic drive from Moshi to the Rongai Gate, located on the northern
side of Mount Kilimanjaro. After about 3-4 hours of trekking, you’ll arrive at Simba Camp, nestled on
a ridge with stunning views over the surrounding landscape

The journey to Kikelelwa camp takes about 7 – 5 hours . As you approach Kikelelwa
Camp, the views become more with the rugged Mawenzi Peak to the east of the trail.
The camp itself is situated in a scenic valley, and the landscape feels increasingly alpine
as you climb higher. Dinner and overnight camp

This is 3-5 hours trekk, towards Mawenzi hut the altitude begins to get higher making it a prime
location for acclimatization, as the altitude continues to rise. Spend the night at Mawenzi

5-6 hours climb where you’ll pass the “Saddle” between Mawenzi and Kibo, which offers incredible
panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Camp and rest to prepare for the summit
climb

Summit ascent will begin around midnight, in order to reach the peak at sunrise. The
descent back to Kibo Hut is quick .After a short break, the descent continues all the way
down to Horombo Hut.
